The trend in the past has been that only working out in the gym will give us great results. The reasoning behind this is that they have some expensive equipment that can be used that will give you results.
However, there are many disadvantages of going to they gym. We need to pay high monthly fees usually, we need to commute to and from the gym on the days we decide to go, we have to wait for the equipment we have to use and that it's all sweaty from the last person.... Working out in a gym just does not seem fun to me and it' s very time consuming.
We now have the alternative of working out at home and getting great results. We don't need to get the TOTAL GYM or other bulky, expensive equipment that we can't set up in our house. All we need is a small area where we can have a TV/VCR, a pyramid to put our weights, and a place to put some DVD series, plus a small area in which to do the exercises. I workout in a very small area every morning and have gotten great results. I use BeachBody workouts; currently I am doing the series called ChaLEAN Extreme.
I invite you to learn more about in-home fitness and see how you can get great results without having to pay for high gym memberships, not having to commute to and from work and having a very small workout area and inexpensive equipment.
