All 4 of my daughters have asthma and 1 of them also has chronic bronchitis. 1 of them has similar heart problems but is okay. These ailments are unfortunately inherited from me and then their father has asthma too. It was very hard when they were smaller. We had super late nights every day because they couldn't sleep through the nights without treatments. They couldn't even get through the day. The one with asthma and chronic bronchitis was so bad off she didn't have the lung capacity for crying. She would turn very dark and pass out. My children get sick very easy and missed lots of school which was part of the reason I decided to homeschool them. Medicines have helped them so they do live normal lives now, for the most part, since they are older but the thing that helped them the most was taking them out of the school system away from all the germs that were constantly sickening them as well as being brought home to me. In the beginning it was trial and error but now they don't even go to the er. I have really learned to manage their sicknesses. It is such a blessing that things gotten a lot better for them.

My son had three strokes after having his neck manipulated by a chiropractor. He is now on disability. This happened when he was 29 years old. His left vertebral artery was dissected, and could not be repaired so they shut the blood supply through that artery off, so he only has one viable artery feeding blood to his brain. He lived with me after the strokes for 5 years. It was a nightmare, getting medical help (no insurance), paying for two people on one income, concerns for his safety when he wasn't home. Lot's of sleepless nights. He is married now, and doing rather well for what he has been through. He will never recover completely from this and will always have medical issues.
